The Nomad was back and still the top of the line wagon with room for six and four doors. The Brookwood was introduced in 1958 as Chevrolet’s mid-priced station wagon. 1959 Chevy Brookwoods were trimmed in line with Chevrolet’s mid-priced 1958 Biscayne sedans. The 1958 Brookwood’s were offered in a 4-door station wagon and available in either six or nine passenger models. In 1959, Chevrolet eliminated its entry level Delray model and the Biscayne became Chevrolet’s least expensive model. With Biscayne trim, the Brookwood became the entry level or least expensive wagon offered by Chevrolet. The 1959 Chevrolet Brookwoods were available with two or four doors.
